ManuscriptThe Typaldos – Iakovatos, brothers were: Konstantinos (1795-1867), Nikolaos (1801-1884), Charalambos (1810-1885) and Georgios (1814-1882), who were children of Aloysios Typaldos - Iakovatos and Aikaterini, née Krasa. They had also a brother, called Angelos, who was considered the family's black sheep. The family of Aloisios is a branch of the house of Typaldos, attested in Cephalonia since 1408. The brothers Typaldos - Iakovatos were distinguished for their performance in letters, sciences and political life of their time.
